First off, thank you for considering One Page at a Time as a Product Review and/or Giveaway Host for your product review and/or service. I am always looking for new and intriguing books to share with my fellow readers and bloggers.
You may wonder why a product review and/or giveaway would benefit you. The main benefit is that consumers, avid readers especially, really want to know what a real person thinks about a book, a new author or even a seasoned author who is new to them before they try it themselves. I can assure you that I am in fact a real person. I am a full-time working mom and wife who is also in school. I have a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Computer Science and Information Systems. However, I decided last year I wanted to fulfill my passion for teaching so I am now in the process of attaining my Master’s in Elementary Education. My personal interests include reading, scrapbooking and traveling. If you feel that I would be a good candidate to review and or host a giveaway for your authors and the books falls into one of these genres, please feel free to read on about the procedure.

There is no charge for product reviews. I ask that books be shipped to my home address or emailed to me if it is in electronic format and I will take a maximum of 15 days to read them (unless otherwise agreed upon or required by the publisher). I will also need a quality digital image of the book, and detailed synopsis as well as the author’s “blurb” to include in the post. At that time, I will write up a review of your book and submit it to you for final approval before posting to my blog. Please note: This request for final approval is only to ensure accuracy of logistics (publisher, author, images, etc.) within the post. I am 100% honest regarding book reviews and I will not change my opinions to suit your company. Once you have agreed to participate in a review on my site you are subject to my honest opinion. Each review will contain multiple links to the sponsor’s websites, facebook pages, twitter accounts and any other avenues you use to attract patrons. If you would like to include an interview with an author, we can arrange a phone, chat room or written interview.
Giveaways in conjunction with a product review are strongly encouraged but not required. Let’s face it, people love free stuff, and maybe even more so, they love to win. Creating that sort of buzz around your book or authors is a great way to attract traffic for you and them. The terms of the giveaway will be outlined prior to posting the blog.
Demographic guidelines can be structured as the sponsor sees fit. However, I require all winners to be at least 18 years of age. Location restrictions are strictly based on the sponsor’s willingness to ship internationally. Restricting to US only or US/Canada Residents is perfectly acceptable.
Giveaways run for a minimum of 15 days, unless otherwise requested. Entries are placed in the form of comments on the giveaway post and are monitored to ensure that they comply with the giveaway rules. I will require one mandatory entry task – usually a question regarding the main topic of the book. This is a flexible component. Additional entries can be gained by following me or you on blogs, facebook, and/or twitter. I will also use the popular social networking sites Facebook and Twitter to draw attention to all giveaways every other day.
Once the giveaway is completed, I will use Random.org to randomly select a winner. I will email the winner and they are given 48 hours to respond to me with their mailing address. I will also post the winner in a separate post on One Page at a Time. If the winner does not respond in a timely manner a new winner will be selected. I will send the shipping information to the sponsor within 24 hours of receiving it from the winner. Unless otherwise arranged, the sponsor is responsible for shipping the prize directly to the winner. I will request that the sponsor ship out the prize within 7 days, as I inform my readers to expect their prize no later than 4-6 weeks from the completion of the contest.

If you wish to run a giveaway without a product review, you have two options. You can pay $5 (via Paypal) to receive ALL of the benefits listed above. Or you can select a limited coverage giveaway for free. This means that I will post your giveaway to 1 site each day and 2 times (total for the length of the giveaway) on facebook and twitter.
